ZUBEDO
ZUBEDO, the next generation social-media-networking site owned by its user base, was conceived by its co-founders Michael Belch, Mike Kason and Jonathan Belch in 2006, with a view to changing the online
social-media-networking landscape forever, making it a better, fairer, more inclusive place for all. Prior to then, the 3 co-founders had been users of various social networking and video sharing sites which were owned by large faceless corporates. The www.zubedo.com social-media-networking portal, which combines social networking, video sharing and commercial media all in a single site, was recently launched in the UK in January of 2010. Since its launch, ZUBEDO has migrated to more than 30 countries, with a growing global user base, being ranked in the top 100,000 UK sites by Alexa, the official internet site ranking company. By the end of 2012, ZUBEDO hopes to have more than 100 million registered, active users worldwide, making it the largest publicly-owned social-media-networking site on the planet, with a £multi-billion market valuation for the benefit of its global user base. Over the next 12-18 months, ZUBEDO's co-founders are proposing to introduce a number of other user-generated centric online businesses (where users consume what they produce, and derive a benefit from it) in the encyclopedic, search engine, exchange, 3-D animation and financial sectors - all of which will be owned by the global ZUBEDO user base. Lucas Oil Products was founded by Forrest Lucas and his wife Charlotte in 1989. Prior to that, Forrest was a truck driver for over 20 years. He and Charlotte were also the owners of a nationwide long haul trucking fleet. They experienced first hand the need for better lubricants and fuel treatments to maintain their own fleet.

The N.A.S.C. - originally founded in 1974 by a dedicated band of enthusiasts - was then an umbrella organisation for the rapidly growing number of Street Rod clubs. Expansion has continued year on year and, not surprisingly, the association is still growing with members now hailing from all around the World. In my life two things have remained present, photography and petrol. For as long as I can remember I have always had a camera, I spent my pocket money on film, and used it to capture what was around me, it was probably inevitable that living in a petrol obsessed house that the two interests would eventually amalgamate themselves.
Since the very beginning I didn’t want to produce generic shots I wanted to be unique and for my work to be identifiable not by the byline but by the style. I started to look away from the motor sport scene and started to investigate the tools and techniques used in other disciplines of photography and the ways that I could introduce that into my work.
Since leaving school I have progressed my career simultaneously in two parallels both as a news and also as a Motor Sport photographer.

The NSRA is the UK's premier Hot Rod Association for pre 1972 Hot Rods, Street Rods, and Customs.
Originally formed in 1972, the NSRA is the club of choice for UK rodding enthusiasts. As well as being the National organisation for hotrodders, each year the NSRA organises two of the UK's largest hot rod show weekends, plus two major auto parts swapmeets, and in conjunction with Shakespeare County Raceway, two nostalgia drag racing event weekends.
